Robert & Deborah Blain Otter Grotto
The Otter Grotto serves as the newest exhibit at Wonder Gardens in Bonita Springs. It features rescued female American river otters named Ivy and Mae, who arrived from Louisiana.
The exhibit expresses naturalistic design and guest visibility. It includes a pool with a waterfall, varied terrain like a dry riverbed of stones, plantings, and a shaded cave-like overhang for the otters. A vinyl fence with a clear glass panel ensures unobstructed viewing.
